PS Plus July 2021 Free Games Announced – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, A Plague Tale: Innocence

The PlayStation Plus lineup for July 2021 has been (officially) announced. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the 2018 game of the longtime shooter franchise Activision, the first with a battle royale mode and the first without the traditional single player campaign – ahead. Along with that, last September we have WWE 2K Battlegrounds, a wrestling side-game that’s more cartoony in every aspect than regular WWE 2K games. The third and final PS Plus game for July is A Plague Tale: Innocence, a 2019 Survival Horror stealth game set to receive next-gen (and Nintendo Switch) versions this month.

In fact, Sony only offers the PlayStation 5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence for free on PS Plus, which is great for everyone (with PS5), whether those who have never played this critically acclaimed game before, or those who wish to return to the first game in gorgeous 4K 60fps on PlayStation 5. The updated edition of A Plague Tale: Innocence will be released on July 6th on PS5, Switch and Xbox Series S / X and will be added to PS Plus on launch day. It looks like Sony is finally taking over the Xbox Game Pass somehow.

Although Microsoft also has a trump card up its sleeve. The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence is on its way – at E3 2021 last month, Asobo Studio announced A Plague Tale: Requiem, slated for release in 2022 for PC, PS5, Switch and Series S / X. Plague Story: Requiem will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

As for the other two games – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds – which will be available for free on PS Plus in July, you will only get the PlayStation 4 versions. Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds don’t even have a PS5 version. Both games have been criticized for their use of microtransactions, although that hasn’t stopped Black Ops 4 from becoming one of Activision’s most popular launches.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and A Plague Tale: Innocence will release on PlayStation Plus on Tuesday July 6 and will be available until Monday August 2. Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate will also have its fourth game this month. Showdown, which continues on PS Plus for a second month after being added in June. Speaking of June, last month’s two other games – Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango – are available for free on PS Plus until Monday, July 5th.

PlayStation Plus Subscriptions: In stock in India in rupees. 499 per month, Rs. 1,199 for three months and Rs. 2999 in 12 months.
