Pokémon Europe International Championship Announced Later This Month

The Pokémon Company has announced an International European Championship later this month, the first of the 2022 Championship season. The event will take place at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany from 22 to 24 April 2022.

As part of the event, there will be “exciting competitions for players Pokémon TCG, Pokemon video games, Pokémon GO and Pokkén Tournament DX.”

Here’s a handy breakdown of the links for each category, participating commentators, and the schedule for each day:

Pokémon video games:
Commentators: Adam Dorricott, Labhaoiza Cromi, Lee Provost, Rosemary Kelly

Pokémon Trading Card Game:
Commentators: Joe Bernard, Ross Gilbert, Chip Ritchie, Ethan Hegy.

Pokken Tournament DX:
Commentators: Evan “WonderChef” Hashimoto, Solomon “SolCalibre” Richard-Croffey, Michael “Midori” Tjong.

Pokémon GO:
Commentators: William “SpeediestChief2” Dunphy, Caleb Peng, Ryan “Zyonik” Hackel, Stephen Sanders

Each tournament will be broadcast from the Messe Frankfurt showroom in Germany at the following times:

Friday, April 22, 2022
9:00 CEST: All four games will be streamed.

Saturday, April 23, 2022
9:00 CET: Match coverage continues for all four games, followed by final matches for Pokken Tournament DX and pokemon go

Sunday, April 24, 2022
10:00 CEST: Pokémon TCG vs. Pokémon VGC Finals.
