Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl hit the Nintendo Switch this week, so how do they go any further? Although we may have to wait a bit correct Sales figures, according to charts on the Nintendo Switch online store, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are already top sellers in the US, UK, Japan and even countries like Australia.
So what’s the number one version? All of the locations mentioned have a Pokémon Brilliant Diamond with the legendary Dialga. Remakes of popular Nintendo DS games could grow to fairly large sales in the long run – Nintendo Switch recently surpassed 92 million in hardware sales.
The sales of previous releases of Pokémon games on the hybrid platform have also shown incredible success. Sword and Shield and Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee are among the top 10 best-selling games on Switch. Sword and Shield has sold over 22 million copies and Let’s Go’s games have sold nearly 14 million to date.
During the Nintendo DS generation, Diamond and Pearl sold over 17 million copies and became the best-selling pocket monster games on the platform at the time.
