Playasia Celebrates 20 Years of Launching New Video Game Publishing Division

Independent online retailer Playasia turns 20 this year, and to celebrate this special occasion, it is launching its own publishing label.

Playasia Publishing is officially described as a “new branch of video game software” that aims to “further advance the goal” of providing games to video game fans around the world.

It will also provide “direct assistance” to developers (throughout the development and publishing process) by helping release games on new platforms and providing additional language support.

The transition to publishing was made easy by an established customer base and existing relationships with partners across Asia, as the company was already “an exclusive partner for hundreds of unique physical titles.”
