Top-down bagel Metal dogs is coming to Switch next year, but only in Japan, according to publisher Kadokawa and developer 24Frame.
The game tells about three dogs – Shiba Inu Pochi, Doberman Bell and Bulldog Bonanza – who live in a post-apocalyptic world in which most of humanity is dead and the world is ruled by monsters. “Monsters” is a general definition of your enemies, as they include a giant tank called Rommel’s Ghost and an armored rhinoceros called Rocket Carrier. Dogs also have guns.
Along with the digital and physical edition, there will be a “Woof-Woof-Woof Duffle Edition” which comes with a gym bag and a physical version of the game soundtrack, and a “Bow Wow Wonderful Edition” which comes with a dog-themed tote, box limited edition and audio track on CD.
The base game will be priced at ¥ 3,900 (£ 26 / $ 34.50) in Japan and will release on April 8, 2022.
