PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe Coming to Switch This Year
Q-Games announced that Pixel Junk Scrappers DeluxePreviously only available on PC, now also coming to Switch later this year!
Scrappers Deluxe is an enhanced version of the Apple Arcade game released in 2020, and in keeping with PixelJunk’s great genre-blending tradition, this game combines the fun of a party game with the chaos of a brawler. Chic, it has the classic PixelJunk simplicity that has kept fans coming back for more over the series’ 15 years.
You can take on your friends no matter what platform they choose to play on, as cross-platform multiplayer is available. And there are plenty of things to unlock so you and your friends keep throwing them away. Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert said “there will be more PixelJunk news and we can’t wait to share what we’re working on” later this year, so until then we’ll be on our toes.
Here’s a brand new take on the game, as well as what to expect from the developer’s Scrappers Deluxe:
Players take on the role of the Scrappers, a team of humanoid scavengers in the not-too-distant future. The goal is to clean up a city that has been overrun with garbage after the end of humanity. Garbage means money in Junktown as rival squads try to step in and get bounties for themselves.

PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe supports up to 4-player cross-platform online multiplayer and local co-op, and offers several exciting game modes as well as a series of crazy mini-games. Players are encouraged to compete against the clock to collect as much garbage as possible. The higher the stack, the bigger the bonus with a huge selection of characters, weapons, and truck parts to unlock.
The only type of trash you’ll be taking out in PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe is your friends when you claim victory. With tons of levels, hundreds of items, and lots of customization, it looks like we’ll be busy for hours on end.
