Oh, looks like Splatoon 3 leaked ahead of release.
It seems like a week after release, another first-person Switch game has been leaked. This time it’s the team shooter Splatoon 3.
If you are heading to Splatoon subreddit, social media or youtube, you’ll be able to see all sorts of spoilers related to the game’s story mode, including boss leaks and more. The same subreddit tries to disable any spoilers.
Some players managed to get their hands on retail copies early on, and the floodgates seemed to open from there. Now there are also reports that the game files have been dumped on PC, and hacked versions of the game are already circulating online.
Keep in mind that Switch multiplayer servers won’t be available until September 9th. Similar leaks have previously occurred with Paper Mario, Metroid Dread, Pokémon games, and most recently Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
It just means that from now on, you need to be careful if you plan to experience the game’s story mode without spoilers.
