There are so many beautiful details that we are always learning about new model announced OLED Switch. While we’ve already discussed the dock in a number of other places, it seems like we’ve found a little more information that’s worth sharing.

Like the original Nintendo Switch dock, users will be able to purchase this new one as a standalone product. That’s right – if you really want this new snazzy-looking dock that’s available in black or white, you won’t have to fork over to the rest of the system. Keep that in mind it will not be they include an HDMI cable, AC adapter or packaging, and that’s it it will not be be sold at retail – then you have to go to Nintendo’s online store. Nintendo confirmed this on the Digital Trends website:

“The white basin and the black basin will be sold separately (no HDMI cable, no AC adapter, not in a package) on the Nintendo online store. It will not be sold for sale.”

There is no mention of prices just for a standalone dock purchase, but if we hear anything we will let you know. The main advantage of the OLED Model is that it comes with an integrated LAN port, so you can enjoy a low latency wireless game. The problem is, there is a USB port menu.

We have too just discovered by a Nintendo FAQ that the new dock that comes with the OLED Switch will be compatible with the old Switch model (of regular size), and your new The switch can be used in the original dock. Do you have what?
