Nintendo just unveiled the new Switch OLED with glitter paint!
The new Switch OLED, themed after Splatoon 3, features gorgeous Joy-Cons controllers with gradient coloring and splashes of paint throughout. The dock itself also has a lovely blob of sunshine yellow paint, complete with all the usual Splatoon-style art.
This is the first Switch OLED themed variant we’ve seen since it launched last October, and we’re very much in love right now. See how these Joy-Cons are actually two-tone, mixed between yellow and green on one, blue and purple on the other, and both with white, slightly translucent backs? We do not need another Switch, huh?
But don’t worry if you don’t like the new OLED displays or Switches, as Nintendo also has a new Pro controller and carrying case to help you play Splatoon on the go!
Here’s a closer look at the system and those lovely new Joy-Cons as well as the Pro Controller.
This controller goes great with the pink and green for Splatoon 2, doesn’t it? The Pro controller will cost $74.99 and the case will cost $24.99.
The Switch OLED will go on sale August 26 for a steep $359.99, and the controller and case will be available from September 9, the same day Splatoon 3 launches.
Will you take any of this? Let us know about it in the comments!
