Nintendo Switch sells better than Wii and PlayStation

Nintendo’s latest financials are out, and one of the headlines is the fact that the Switch has overtaken both the Wii and the Sony PlayStation in lifetime hardware sales.

Since its launch in 2017, the Nintendo Hybrid System has sold a total of 103.54 million units worldwide. This figure includes the standard Switch Lite system and the Switch OLED model.

During its lifetime, the Wii sold 101.63 million systems, while the original PlayStation sold 102.49 million.

This means the Switch is now Nintendo’s most successful home console.
