Nintendo Showcases Quality of Life Changes for Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is just a few months away after the highly anticipated RPG was pushed back from its original September launch to July 29th.
With that in mind, Nintendo is starting to lift the veil on the latest installment in Monolith Soft’s beloved franchise, giving us a glimpse of the gameplay and providing new details on its combat system. Several recent videos have shown off new quality-of-life improvements which, if you’re a fan of the franchise, will no doubt be very welcome.
In the first video, Nintendo demonstrates that you can seamlessly switch between characters on the fly, even during battles. This will allow players to dive deeper into the already feature rich combat system, allowing you to quickly experiment with the abilities of different characters.
The second video showcases a new “quick move” that you can activate during combat to quickly holster your weapon and reposition yourself on the battlefield. This looks like it will greatly improve your ability to land positional offensive attacks, which have been staples of the franchise since the beginning.
While these are unlikely to be groundbreaking updates, we hope these quality of life improvements result in a smoother gaming experience with Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
What do you think of these gameplay improvements? Will you receive Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on July 29th? Let us know!
