Nintendo publishes EarthBound online player guide

After a long wait, Nintendo has finally done what many Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have been asking for – EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings have been released on the NES and SNES apps. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t go further and give us a localized iteration of Mother 3, but games that were previously available from the Wii U eShop are now part of the standard online subscription.
Of the two, EarthBound was the most desired, and Nintendo is once again sharing the complete Player’s Guide from in the old days. It’s a real nostalgia trip (those fonts are from the 90’s!) and over a hundred pages long, so it’s worth checking out.
However, this is Nintendo, so it can be tricky to find. Some social media users found it in the Nintendo Switch Online app on the home screen, but we didn’t see it there. We did find it at the bottom of the article promoting the games, under the News tab. Below is a screenshot of the QR code if you want to download the PDF on your phone; if you need a direct link just go to this page.

We think this was made available in the previous edition of the Wii U eShop, but a reminder would be nice!
If you’ll excuse us, we’ll pretend it’s the 1990s and have a good read.
