New Threat Takes Form in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 8 Cubed

The battle between the aliens and the imaginary order has come to an end. This was followed by a new conflict … in particular, the cubic form. The destruction of the alien mother ship released the cubes that powered it, and these cubes pose an even greater threat to the island than those aliens. While they may not look like typical villains, I can assure you that these Cubes are filled with malice.
Everyone on the Island must speak up and do their part, otherwise they will be defeated by the corruption caused by the Cubes. For the aliens? Pro-IO? These differences no longer matter. You should all get together and heed my instructions …
Drive sideways … if you dare
Never heard of Sideways? There is a good reason for this. The Sideways is a dark, evil reality filled with terrifying monsters. New guests of the Island of Cuba are spreading portals called “Side Anomalies” that connect our world with the Side ones. Sideways has low gravity and the atmosphere is not ideal for building.
The Sideways is also beginning to invade our world. In every match, some POIs will be affected by the side zone, which turns it into a side zone. Entering lateral anomalies and zones can be dangerous … but what if I told you that this risk can have serious benefits?
Reinforcement with side weapons
Entering the side anomaly, you will encounter hordes of monsters that I mentioned (“Cubic Monsters”). Killing these vicious enemies will reward you with weapons to the side, as well as cube monster pieces that you can use to upgrade your weapons to the side.
(In the side zones, monsters do not fight in waves, and side weapons can be found as loot.)
You must be thinking that Sideways weapons should be special if they come from a different reality. Well, you think it’s right. The side shotgun and side minigun will deal additional damage after you bring them to a super-powerful state!
The island needs your input!
As I mentioned earlier, the Island needs help from all of us if we are to save it. What can you do to help? You and the community can donate the earned bars to construction sites where you want to see the turret stations built. Later, community assistance will be required to select weapons, both new and old, to be used in battle.
Instruments of war
Not everything needs Bars to be scrapped. I will also be posting new and recurring tricks in the house. For example, I was able to obtain a consistently reliable automatic sniper rifle and a harpoon gun.
Plus, you can still use nuts and bolts to upgrade your weapon to the style that suits you best. For example, you can turn a lever action shotgun into a loaded shotgun or an assault rifle into a silenced assault rifle. This is a powerful weapon, but be careful if there are even more in its arsenal.
Cubic conquest
At least for now, the Cubes are located around the wreckage of the mother ship. Amazingly, some of the Mothership’s technologies still work. In fact, its anti-gravity tunnels can move groups in loops.
Shadowstones can be found scattered among the rubble. Believe it or not, consuming one of these strange items will temporarily transform you into a shadow spirit, allowing you to be hidden from your opponents. It seems that these Shadow Stones fell into some of the waters, as there have been reports of Shadow Floppers being caught.
And the last thing about cubes. We noticed a special gold one. Other Cubans seem to see him as a kind of leader. We’d better keep an eye on this.
Get started on punch cards
The inhabitants of the island have punched cards with tasks in which they need your help. Dark Jonesy would like your help in figuring out what’s going on inside the Revolution facility, and Charlotte needs help investigating this incident. In a few weeks, more and more residents will ask for your help in uncovering some of the island’s hidden secrets.
It is always better to complete quests with a squad, so gather a group and get to work! Group quests can be obtained by communicating with the inhabitants of the island and using phone booths. They will also appear in your daily journal. Don’t worry, everyone is rewarded for their good deeds: Party assignments give ingots to everyone who helps.
You must be wondering, “Why are you getting yourself into all this?” I can ignore this, but I don’t want you all to be crushed by the Cube’s victory. So don’t let me down here!
