Could there be too much Michael Jordan in your life if you’re a basketball fan? 2K I don’t think so! Yesterday, the sports game publisher announced the release date for the next NBA game, NBA 2K23, and it’s exactly what you think – September!

On September 9, you can throw as many hoops as you want and “answer the call” and two versions will be launched – Championship Edition and Michael Jordan Edition. Exquisite! The Championship Edition will include a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription in North America that would otherwise cost $15 per month. Pre-orders open tomorrow, July 7th.

However, the Michael Jordan Edition is adorned with the presence of the 14-time NBA All-Star. This is the fourth time the player has appeared on the cover of the game, having previously graced the cover of NBA 2K11, 2K12, and 2K16.

Jordan Challenges from 2K11 will return to NBA 2K23. There will be 15 of them – 10 rebuilt from 2K11 and five new tests.

2K also showed us two different versions of the legendary athlete in the game – one from the 80s and the other from the 90s.

Prices for both editions will be announced tomorrow when pre-orders start, so don’t miss out! And if you’re worried about your favorite player not grace the cover, 2K has revealed that more stars will be announced as pre-orders drop. So there is still hope!

Will you receive the Michael Jordan Edition when pre-orders start tomorrow? Let us know!
