During this year’s Minecraft Live broadcast, Mojang unveiled the next big update for the ever-expanding sandbox, crafting, and survival game.
It’s called The Wild Update, and it brings new gameplay, more depth and “lots of fun” to the game. There will be mud, mangrove swamps, different types of frogs and tadpoles, and even boats with chests!
This update will now also include Deep darkness and the overseer – and since there is so much content in this next update, it won’t arrive until 2022.
As for the second part of the Caves & Cliffs update, it will arrive in a month or two, according to the game’s developers. This update will expand the worlds from top to bottom.
