Mind blowing puzzle game ‘Superliminal’ Bags A Physical Edition

Pillow Castle Games’ surreal first-person puzzle game Superliminal is getting gorgeous physical release courtesy of Super Rare Games.

Initially launched digitally in 2020, we thought Superliminal was a fantastic experience, combining unique puzzle gameplay with a surprisingly powerful core message. We put 8/10 at the end of our review.

The physical edition will be limited to 5,000 copies and will consist of three unique editions. The Standard Edition will come with a full color manual, interior art, an exclusive sticker and trading cards. It will be limited to 3000 copies.

The Steelbook edition will contain both the standard copy of the game and a whimsical steelbook. You will also receive a postcard and a case. They will be released in a limited edition of only 750 copies.

The main one is the Collector’s Edition. It will come with both a standard game and a steel book, as well as a 32-page hardback book, Superliminal pawn chess piece, 3 apple dice, and an optical illusion fridge magnet. All this will be placed in a collectible box with a biconvex lid. 1250 copies of this edition will be produced.

The physical edition will go on sale on May 5 at 18:00 Moscow time on the website Super rare games website. Pricing hasn’t been revealed at the time of writing, but we’ll update the article as soon as we know more.
