Metroid Dread version 1.0.3 is available now, here are the full patch notes

Surprisingly, Nintendo and MercurySteam have released yet another update for Samus’s latest adventure. Metroid dread

This latest update has fixed an issue that could cause Samus to disappear under certain conditions. The development team says they’ve made some fixes to keep things working as intended. Other than that, there are no other changes or fixes in this latest update.

Here are the full patch notes for version 1.0.3, courtesy of the Nintendo website:

Ver. 1.0.3 (released on November 16, 2021)

General fixes

Fixed an issue that caused Samus’s damage detection to disappear under certain conditions.

We made the decision to fix this problem because there is a possibility that it could happen unintentionally, and if it does, it will lead to a gameplay that will be very different from how Metroid dread was originally intended for testing.

This follows from version 1.0.2, which included the final boss fix and a number of other fixes. You can find out more about this particular patch in our previous update.
