Metroid Dread developer MercurySteam announces the next game, codenamed Project Iron

If you’re wondering what the MercurySteam developer is up to, Metroid dread is available on Nintendo Switch, it looks like a brand new game is already under development.
The Spanish studio teams up with Digital Bros and its publishing arm 505 Games to create a new game, codenamed “Iron Project“It is described as a new third-person RPG set in a dark fantasy world.
The title will receive a “multi-platform global release”, and the initial investment in the development of the project will amount to 27 million euros. Along with this, “the intellectual property of the game belongs to Digital Bros. and MercurySteam through the MSE & DB SL joint venture under Spanish law. “

MercurySteam recently released a series of patches for Metroid Dread on Nintendo Switch.
