Meta Knight and Waddle Dee Nendoroid are getting a delightful re-release
We won’t blame you if you missed the opportunity to acquire Meta Knight and Waddle Dee Nendoroids a few years ago and have since diligently scoured the internet trying to find them at a resale price that will not make you remortgage your house. If this sounds like you (or vice versa, if this is your first time seeing the figurines), then you’re in luck as today Good Smile announced that they will be re-releasing both figurines in 2023.
Sharing news on twitterpre-orders for both figures are already open through good smile website with orders due to ship around June 2023 (thank you, Soup Nintendo!). Both Meta Knight as well as Waddle Dee each costs $41.99 (about £36, though this doesn’t include international shipping).
Like many Nendoroids, they use magnets, which means that changing positions takes a matter of minutes. In addition, each product also comes with interchangeable faceplates and a range of accessories for maximum display customization. These include a spear, apple, and banana for Waddle Dee, and sword marks and wings for Meta Knight. Just take a look at them!
Pre-order open from now until October 12 at 11:59 pm PTbut with shipments not starting until next June, you should have plenty of time to clear some shelf space and tidy up the Kirby-inspired scene.
