Mario Kart Tour welcomes a brand new course to Piranha Plant Cove

On February 7, the Mario Kart Tour kicks off the Exploration Tour, and with it, an all-new course for the Mario Kart series, Piranha Plant Cove, is introduced!

Announced official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account, we don’t know much about the new course yet, except that it’s an underwater course filled with ruins and statues of piranha plants. Near the back you can see two stone heads of Piti Piranha. Same, every remember the eel from Super Mario 64, right? He is there too! Large! All our nightmares haunt us again…

The team wants us all to play a little game of “Spot the Differences”, probably to bring the “Exploration” theme of the tour home.

Of course, the new course in Mario Kart Tour is interesting, but the question is – will this course appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? The tour’s tracks feature prominently on the Booster Course Pass, and Sky-High Sundae is also a new course created for the Tour (but first introduced in the second wave of DLC).

If you want to try Piranha Plant Cove on tour, you can check out the course when it arrives on February 7th next week!

Do you think we’ll see this course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Do you like diving courses? Let us know!
