Loop hero was especially good news on Nintendo’s August Indie World telecast, and the good news is that the game, developed by the Four Quarters, has been targeted for a holiday release on December 9th.
When it arrived on PC earlier this year, it was a huge success and became a darling in the streaming scene thanks to its thoughtful concept and addictive gameplay. You have to manage dangerous expeditions with time loops, and on each trip you can use maps to influence various things. You can empower yourself or even add new enemies and hazards to get the chance to earn more loot in the loop. Of course, this is a system of risk and reward, because death will throw you back.
Below are some official descriptions to help you understand its concept.
Endless Adventure: Choose from unlockable character classes and deck cards before embarking on each expedition on a randomly generated cycle. No expedition will be the same as the previous ones.
Plan your fight: Strategically place maps of buildings, terrain, and enemies along each loop to create your own dangerous path. Find a balance between cards to increase your chances of survival by restoring valuable loot and resources for your camp.
Loot and upgrade: Destroy fearsome creatures, collect stronger loot to equip on the fly, and unlock new perks along the way.
Expand your camp: Convert hard-earned resources into camp improvements and receive valuable reinforcements for each cycle you complete along the expedition path.
Save the Lost World: Overcome a line of unholy guardian bosses in an epic saga to save the world and break the Lich’s time loop!
If it continues to gain traction found on PC, it could certainly become a hit on the online store. Let us know if this is on your wishlist.
