The Samsung Odyssey G3 comes with 24 “and 27” displays, the Samsung Odyssey G5 comes with a 27 “display, and the Samsung Odyssey G7 comes with a 28” display. Samsung claims the new gaming monitors deliver “ultra-real picture quality, better responsiveness, personalized ergonomics and an intuitive usability.” The Odyssey G5 and G7 are Nvidia G-Sync compatible, and all three gaming monitors are AMD FreeSync Premium compatible.

Let’s start with the largest monitor in the lineup, the Samsung Odyssey G7. Samsung gave it a 28-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) display with 178-degree viewing angle, HDR400 support, 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It is also compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for true precision. The Samsung Odyssey G7 also supports HDMI 2.1, allowing it to connect to next-generation 4K 120Hz gaming consoles. Other connectivity options include a 1.4 display port and a USB 3.0 port. The Odyssey G7 features a height-adjustable stand that allows you to tilt, swivel and swivel your monitor.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 is offered with a 27-inch QHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with a 178-degree viewing angle, 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and HDR10 support. It is also offered with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility for superior graphics performance. Samsung has provided the Odyssey G5 with a height-adjustable stand that can tilt, swivel and swivel the monitor to suit the user’s preference. Connectivity options include display port 1.2 and HDMI 2.0.
