Koei Tecmo teases the next chapter in the Atelier series

It was revealed late last month that the Koei Tecmo lineup at the Tokyo Game Show will include a new game from developer Atelier Gust.
Now, in an update, the company has shared a trailer for the 25th anniversary of the Atelier series, which not only highlights this RPG series’ extensive history, but also teases a brand new game at the very end, including what appears to be the first glimpse into the next chapter.
While it’s unclear exactly what this new Atelier game might be, there are a lot of requests for Ryza 3. However, at this stage, it could be a new sequel, or even an entirely new standalone adventure.
Fans can find out more at this year’s Tokyo Game Show starting next week on September 16th. Other Koei Tecmo games to be featured alongside this one include: Nobunaga’s Ambition: Hadou as well as Wo Long: The Fallen Dynasty.
The most recent entry in the Atelier series was Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream earlier this year. It followed up with Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy in 2021.
