IntecGaming’s new Kickstarter campaign aims to turn the Game Boy Advance into a console experience. Its “GBA HDMI Kit” has raised just over $10,000 so far (with a target of $49,697) and promises to be a highly portable, easy to operate, and fun DIY device.

It also comes with built-in Bluetooth, allowing it to support all kinds of gamepads (PS4, PS5, Switch Pro, Xbox One). The Retro Game Mod YouTube channel Macho Nacho Productions was sent the kit and uploaded a full breakdown showing the unboxing, installation and how it works.

As you can see, it’s as simple as connecting a GBA motherboard to an interface board, twisting everything together, and then placing it inside the case. You can learn more about the product, its assembly and comparison with competitors on the official Kickstarter page.
