KartRider: Drift Returns On Track In December With A New Closed Beta Event
Hello racers! It’s been a long time since our last closed beta, but we’re almost ready to release the latest version of this epic kart racer on Xbox One this December. As a reminder, Cartrider Drift it is the only free cross-platform racing game with deep characters and go-kart customization systems.
For newcomers to the franchise: Cartrider Drift This is the latest generation in the KartRider franchise that inherits the original Crazyracing KartRider mechanisms for fun and kart racing. Remaining nostalgic, this new title introduces next-generation graphics using Unreal Engine 4, as well as improved gameplay systems with cross-play and cross-progression support. In the upcoming Closed Beta, you will be able to play against riders from all over the world in real time.

What’s new in Closed Beta 3?
Very little! You will discover new maps, new features, new skins, new characters, new maps, and more. Veteran fans will also see many improvements made to existing modes and mechanics, including item mode and speed mode.
In Item Mode, you can collect and use over 15 different items to attack, defend, and even support your allies in team races. Alternatively, for players who love fast-paced competitive racing, be sure to check out the Speed Mode, where skillful drifting will help you fill the acceleration bar to get ahead of other karts and win!
Customize your kart and racer and hit the road in style
One of the biggest new features that we can’t wait for you to experience is the livery system. Imagine being able to customize the color, pattern, wrapping, and stickers of your cards to create your own unique design. We provide some of the existing designs as a reference, but we really want you to use the decals to find your ideal style and create giveaway-worthy custom content.
We’re also happy to introduce you to some new maps (it’s a racing game after all) including Brutus, Justice, Saber, Spider and Storm … which look as cool as they sound! And make good names for the kittens.
But what good is a cute new superstar driverless ride? In addition to the current cast of characters, Cartrider Drift Introduces you to the mysterious Neo (not the one), the fearsome Rex, and the selfie queen Marid in Closed Beta 3.
Finally, you will discover 15 new tracks on top of the existing 16 tracks that beta participants saw earlier. You can explore city traffic, icy glaciers, dusty deserts, eerie graveyards, or blazing hot fields where lava explodes on the track. Share your favorites with us by trying them all!
