Kadabra may finally return to the Pokémon collectible card game

The upcoming set teases the “original 151”.

Remember in 2020 magician Uri Geller publicly apologized for Kadabra being excluded from the Pokémon collectible card game and asked Nintendo to bring him back? Well, it looks like it might finally happen.

According to a story on PokeBeach, the new “sale sheet” for the “Pokémon Card 151” set mentions how the original 151 Pokémon will be featured. The set also named the card “Alakazam ex”. Geller shared the following voicemail with a source in response to this news — admitting that he “was a fool” by suing when Kadabra was “basically a tribute”. Here’s what he had to say:
