Japanese charts: Pokémon and Nintendo Switch dominate the holiday season

Data from Japan’s Famitsu Chart is available for two weeks from December 20 to January 2, showing that Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl still perform very well at the top of the list.

An additional 231,275 retail copies of the two games were sold over the holidays in Japan, bringing the total physical sales to nearly 2.4 million. Once again, they are followed by the top 10, consisting exclusively of games for Nintendo Switch, followed by Mario Party Superstars with 206,145 sales of physical goods during this period.

Here are the top ten (the first numbers are the estimated sales of the last two weeks combined, followed by the total sales):
