Japanese charts: Dragon Ball Z debuts at # 2, while Switch comes in at # 7 out of the top ten

Data from Japan’s Famitsu Chart is now available for the week ending September 26 and shows Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set ranked # 2.

In its first week in Japan, it sold about 42,074 copies of the game, making it the most played game of the week on the Switch. The first place (and the third, in fact) went to Lost judgment, with the PS4 version surpassing the PS5 counterpart in sales.

A total of seven Switch games are in the top ten, including the recently released WarioWare: Get It Together! sliding from second to fourth place.

Switch console sales are up slightly this week, but still significantly lower than the weekly totals we’re used to seeing. Here is the data for this week, followed by lifetime sales in parentheses:
