This week, Halo Infinite Lone Wolves Season 2 has launched for fans on Xbox, PC and Xbox Game Pass, and today we’re excited to dive a little deeper into what you can expect from the Lone Wolves seasonal storyline.
Lone Wolves is the start of an exciting multi-season storyline that puts your personal Spartan in the thick of things that unfold. Season 2 begins as two battle-wounded Spartans arrive at Avery J Johnson’s training facility with a dangerous prize…and vital information about Banished’s plans. As Season 2 progresses, you will unlock the next chapter of your Spartan’s story.
Not every Spartan operation benefits from more Mjolnir-shod boots on the ground. Bounty hunter kills, deep reconnaissance, information cleansing, and “unofficial” covert operations require Spartans to have a specific set of skills and a minimal signature in a conflict zone. Recent conflicts have also introduced a new factor: the Spartans, who find themselves completely cut off from the UNSC, are forced to search for ammunition, food and batteries deep behind enemy lines. With any luck, they may team up with other survivors to form special packs, bound together by their Spartan training and indomitable drive to achieve victory in humanity’s darkest hour.
In Lone Wolves, your Spartan finds himself at the center of an all-new storyline of humanity’s war against the Exiles. As you uncover long-hidden secrets, including one of the Exiles’ most diabolical innovations, your victories and accomplishments in these pivotal events will pave a new path for a new generation of Spartans, ensuring the pack survives.
Sigrid Eklund honed her calm and composed demeanor while serving as a UNSC Army Ranger supporting human resistance groups on Covenant-occupied words. For a Spartan, these qualities, as well as Eklunds’ deep strategic mind, are invaluable assets in the current conflict against the Exiles and their rapidly growing influence.
Prior to joining the Spartan IV program, Hye Dinh was a field analyst in Division III of the Office of Naval Intelligence tasked with capturing and repurposing Covenant technology. However, those same skills, combined with Dean’s high tolerance for risk and penchant for improvisation, may have just landed him in his most dangerous position.
As part of the Lone Wolves Season, you will be able to earn and unlock items worn by the Spartans Eklund and Dean themselves through the Battle Pass. Here is a quick overview of some of the things you can get!
Spartan Eklund a quiet professional, skilled in both covert surveillance and kinetic strikes. She chose the STRIBOG helmet as the basis of her outfit, using its vast reconnaissance capabilities to direct valuable UNSC combat assets to the right place at the right time.
Spartan Dean wears a custom ensemble formed by brutal hand-to-hand combat with exile boarding parties and extermination squads. His helmet is an ARTAIUS model derived from a small series of prototypes originally intended for a new class of combat exo-frames.

But that’s not all. Season 2 of the series Halo Infinite will also introduce players to the new Fracture armor set, which will once again bring a unique alternate universe to the Halo universe.
Entrenched Fracture is a world combed with super-scientific aether bombs and alchemically enhanced soldiers. Although its lands are destroyed, the United Nations Security Confederation continues to fight, blindly obeying the orders of long-dead generals. Their sworn enemies, the fanatics of the Covenant, survive only as hordes of radiation-poisoned mutants squabbling over the remnants of their once-proud civilization. Surviving on the front lines requires the EAGLESTRIKE energy plate, a marvel of combat blacksmithing that protects against both radiation and Covenant plasmatron weapons.
