Nintendo released its first wave of DLC yesterday for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. As part of this, the game has also been updated to Version 1.2.0.
So, what does the latest version include? Aside from some DLC preparation, it adds in a feature of automatic tracking cameras and solves “many problems” to enrich the gaming experience.
Below are the full patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo’s official support page:
Ver. 1.2.0 (Released on June 18, 2021)
– Adjustments made in preparation for DLC Wave 1.
– An automatic tracking camera function has been added.
– Solved several problems to improve the gaming experience.
As announced earlier, the Wave 1 DLC contains a new playable character, new weapon types, another level of difficulty, new challenges and tougher enemies. Here are the best details from Nintendo:
“Go through the Royal Ancient Tech Lab to try out new challenges to unlock weapons and new useful features! Then, dominate the battlefield as the new playable Battle Guardian or try out the added weapon types — the Flail for Link and Master Cycle for Zelda. These new combat styles will be useful in the new Apocalyptic difficulty and against added enemies like the Moblin throwing a bomb and a Giant Chuchu. “
