Hopefully the Radiant Silvergun will return to the North American Switch Store soon

Update [Mon 19th Sep, 2022 09:20]: Publisher Live Wire shared the news about the disappearance of the Radiant Silvergun from the North American online store.
The company says the game was removed from digital storefronts because “the product rating has changed,” similar to what happened to Mushihimesama last year. Live Wire has posted new data to the product board and is awaiting a response, but is hopeful that sales will resume on September 20 (PT), although it acknowledged that exact dates and times have yet to be determined.
Here is what Live Wire writes about the situation on Twitter:
We will update this article as soon as the game is back in North American online stores. For more information, check out our story from the last week:
Original article [Wed 14th Sep, 2022 09:30 BST]: One of our favorite surprises during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was the confirmation that Treasure’s Radiant Silvergun is not only returning, but that we can buy it. right now. How many of you rushed to an online store and downloaded it right away? However, in North America you had to act very quickly as the game has already been removed from the online store.
Hours after the release of Direct, players expressed their concern on Twitter when they couldn’t find the game on the online store. The trailer has also been closed or removed from YouTube.
The port’s publisher, Live Wire, made a very brief statement on Twitter acknowledging the problem, but it remains a mystery why it was removed.
“The Radiant Silvergun is currently not available for purchase in North America. We will respond immediately. We’ll let you know when it becomes available for purchase.”
This is not the first time that one of the Live Wire games has been suddenly removed from the online store. Mushihimesama was removed shortly after it was released last year on the European eShop due to an age rating error, but reappeared the following month:
As for Radiant Silvergun, some players have reported that the port has several issues, including incorrect music looping, however there has been no official reason for the game’s removal. Fortunately, the game is still available for purchase from Japanese and European online stores.
We’ll update this article as soon as we know more!
