Today we are pleased to announce that high In life comedy shooter with charismatic talking guns from Squanch Games, Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, is the biggest Xbox Game Pass launch of 2022, the biggest 3rd Game Pass’s all-time party launch and the largest single-player game release in the service’s history. This statistic is measured in terms of engagement based on the number of hours played in the first five days of release.

“This was our first game launch with Game Pass,” said Mike Fridley, Studio Director and COO of Squanch Games, “and we have been blown away by the response from players who have made us the most played game on Game Pass. In a recent podcast interview with Larry Hreeb, Xbox Major Nelson, co-creator Justin Roiland explained how much there is to be found along the way and encouraged players to “go off the golden path” in search of many deeply hidden details and secrets. Inspired by Roiland’s own gaming interests, including Fallout 3, the team has gone to great lengths to prioritize additional voices, animations, and details that reflect player decisions.
