There are the worthy Halo Infinite players, the really greats, the Onyx rated players, and there is Remy “Mint Blitz”, an Australian streamer who has won over 100 free matches in a row.
First reported KotakuMint Blitz originally set out to win 50 free matches in a row in the recently released (and free) multiplayer portion of Halo Infinite. However, after winning 50 matches in a row, he raised the stakes and tried to win 100 matches in a row … and he succeeded. In fact, he continued to win even more, breaking the streak of “105, 106 wins in a row.”
The streamer said it took him about a week to hit 100 consecutive wins, and everything went almost flawlessly except for one glitch: his computer froze and he was forced to quit Halo Infinite. However, his video shows him climbing 10 points, which means he was almost certainly going to win. Considering freezing the PC is not in his hands, Mint Blitz absolutely does it. When he loaded up the game again, he was back on his winning streak.
After all was said and done, Mint Blitz provided some feedback on the free-for-all mode. At the top of his list was the lack of sniper rifles that were available to everyone. He said that he only appears on one map, and even then only 50% of the time. This forced him to tackle the problem differently (instead of relying on sniper multiple kills, which he seems to indicate is how he usually scored so many victories in the old Halo games).
He also highlighted some of the weapons he found particularly useful and some of the odd features he found with them. Mint Blitz says the Shock Rifle is great – it instantly kills with one headshot, but to get a headshot, you have to shoot behind the player as they run in the right direction. He also said that the plasma pistol needed to regain its EMP functions, but that an otherwise classic “beginner combo” – firing a charged shot, switching to precision weapons like the Sidekick pistol, and destroying them in one quick shot – works just as well. like Ever.
He said the Mauler is probably the best weapon in Halo Infinite, citing its large ammo capacity, lethal accuracy, and powerful melee weapons. If you watch his video, you will see that the Repulsor is what he uses quite often to launch enemies off cliffs and over abysses and lead to death.
“Winning 100 games in a row was incredibly stressful,” says Blitz in a YouTube video of the feat. “I had friends, and when I lived to the 90s, they all [said] “Don’t choke 100, Remy, don’t choke. It would be very bad if you ruined the last game. ” I was in a panic that I would suffocate. ”
However, the streak came to an end after he was unable to kill someone on the Halo Infinite Bazaar map. Here I felt proud to have risen to Diamond …
