Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s “.hack // GU” anime RPG series may be on its way to Nintendo Switch, according to a new ranking in North America.
According to ESRB, four in one collection .hack // Last re-code of the GU received a Teenager grade for a hybrid system. It contains the following: alcohol references, fantasy violence, mild blood, soft speech, and suggestive themes.
And here is the official ESRB rating summary:
“This is a collection of four role-playing games in which players take on the role of participants in a fictional game called World. From a third-person perspective, players explore cities and dungeons, interact with characters, and fight various enemies (e.g. monsters, human opponents, robots). Characters use swords, scythes, magical attacks, and weapons to defeat enemies in hand-to-hand combat. One video shows words written in blood on a hospital wall. Some female characters wear clothing that exposes a large amount of cleavage; the videos also feature male characters looking at women’s breasts and buttocks. Characters in the dialogues mention alcohol several times (for example, “…[H]drink up “; “… in order to wash down their minds”; “… the legendary drunkard”; “Liquor! More alcohol! “). The words “b * tch” and “a * s” appear in the game. “
If this rating is accurate, this will not be the first time that a Bandai Namco game has been revealed through the ESRB. The same thing happened with Ni No Cooney II back in May, which eventually led to the official announcement.
.hack // GU Last Recode was originally released for PlayStation 4 and Windows PCs back in 2017. Interested in this collection for Nintendo Switch? Leave a comment below.
