Happy Sunday, shooters! Worldwide release today Gungrave GOR and now players can experience the horror world created by Yasuhiro Nightou. In addition to releasing today for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, we’re excited to share with you the first reveal of the OD Grave skin, which is inspired by previous entries in the series. To learn more about the inclusion of OD Grave, I had the opportunity to sit down with Gungrave GORE CEO Kay Kim to talk about the skin, the newly released game, and more. Enjoy!

Why include it original skin?

I believe that many fans will miss the character designs from previous versions. That’s why we’ve included skins from the past.

Did you have to change it somehow to match this style?

Since it’s from the past, we didn’t want it to look too fancy, so we kept the old school vibe. We stuck to the original design and intentionally made it a bit old fashioned.

Was Yasuhiro Nightou involved in modern usage?

Nightow-san was involved in character development.

How did Yasuhiro Nightou react when he saw his creations on the latest gaming technologies?

He likes the style of the game, not just the style of the character. He wanted more action and gore, and I think those elements are done well.

What is your favorite skin in the game, there are such as Death Ronin, Classic and others.

The Brandon Heath skin first appeared in the Gungrave series and it has its own original movement and original destruction frame. I’d say it’s more of a character than a skin. For Death Ronin Grave, this will give you a unique vibe as Nakamura-san, an artist and fan of Gungrave, has reimagined Grave in her own way. Classic skins and OD skins evoke nostalgia for many. It’s not just Grave, but the memories of myself, songs, movies, fashion, etc. that were popular in those days remind me of them. Now that I’ve said all the skins look good to me.

Since the game is coming out soon, do you have a message for our readers?

Thanks for the long wait. Gungrave GOR inherited all the good things from its previous versions, but added a varied system and a large amount of numbers, which made it the largest in terms of volume among the entire Gungrave series. I hope you enjoy the game so much that we can make another one in the future. If you want an explosive action game, please play it.

Thank you, Kay Kim, for taking the time to chat and share information about OD Grave! We hope you enjoy playing Gungrave GOR on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass today.
