Genshin Impact teams up with Ufotable for new anime projects
Genshin Impact, a mobile RPG that has sold millions of copies, is looking for its own animated show. And it comes from the wizard artist from ufotable.
I’m not going to pretend to be an expert in Genshin Impact for you right now. Sisi is currently unwell and so I’m ruining their reputation, even their lives, by jumping up and posting this news. In my defense, they can’t write at the moment because of all the screaming and running around the room, bumping into things, laughing and crying and screaming again. That’s why:
My bizarre, eternal loop with Genshin Impact is to install it, intend to start playing it, then be distracted by a bee and forget for a few weeks, pay attention to this massive mount a folder on my SSD and decide I need that place back and then think “I really should be playing Genshin Impact“.
Looking at the concept trailer for the new anime makes me even more inspired. I want to have all the knowledge in place to be able to enjoy watching anything it is beautiful. I mean, my god, look at this!
So yes it is concept a trailer, not a network feed or teaser for a show already in production. However, it was released to announce long-term plans for a collaboration between HoYoverse and ufotable (both of which need a capitalization lesson), and it’s fair to say that this will be their goal given what ufotable does. After all, this is an anime studio for Demon Slayer as well as Fate.
It was announced during HoYoverse’s outpouring of new information to Genshin ImpactSpecial program version 3.1, which you can follow here.
Okay, I’m sorry, I need to find a long-handled broom to get Cece off the ceiling. They yell something like, “I’M DISTURBED BY HOW COOL THE SCARAMOUCH IS IN THIS TRAILER. WHAT THE HECK. STOP MAKE ME TRY TO PLEASE THIS PINT SIZE LOOSER BECAUSE IT WORKS!” I do not know what it means.
