Everything Sony showed at the PlayStation Big State Of Play Event

We may not have E3 this year, but does that matter? Sony has been running these State of Play events for a while now, and today’s episode had everything from last fantasy to Resident Evil to Street Fighter to Spiderman.

Until the show was innovative announcements, at least at the level we expect from E3, it didn’t really matter. I’m sure they will appear later this month.. At the moment we have something new Final Fantasy XVI footage, our first good look at Street Fighter 6 and his very strange career mode, a trailer for a very beautiful, but also troubled indie gamesome VR news Resident Evil 4 remake, and a host of other things you can check out below.


During today’s Game state stream, Capcom and PlayStation finally revealed Resident Evil 4 Remake. It will release on PlayStation 5 on March 24, 2023.

A brief teaser shows a game very similar to the original. Leon Kennedy travels to the European countryside to find the daughter of the President of the United States when all hell breaks loose. Oh, and Ada Wong is there because it just wouldn’t be Resident Evil playing without her resident (ahem) femme fatale?


To roam, a game about being a cat in a non-cat world, has finally received a release date. It will be released on PlayStation and PC on July 19, publisher Annapurna Interactive announced on Sony State of Play Presentation this evening.


Today, Sony and Insomniac announced that the original Spiderman The game, which was first released on PS4 back in 2018, will be released on PC on August 12.


Following on from its earlier promise of a summer reveal, Capcom joined PlayStation during today’s conference call. Game state to share additional footage of the upcoming Street Fighter 6.
