Elden Ring Character Creator Leaked Through Closed Network Test

An incomplete version of the character creator from the upcoming FromSoftware game Elden Ring has leaked through a recent closed network test.

The creation menu, which can be seen below via YouTube user ER-SA, is clearly incomplete as most of the options are left blank, although they are functional, allowing the player to change body type, gender, and more.

In the closed online test of Elden Ring, players chose from 5 ready-made characters, completely skipping the character creation process.

The exclusive 2020 PS5 remake of Demon’s Souls featured a robust character creator, a big step up from the original FromSoftware titles, which were infamous for their monstrous creations that players could create.

FromSoftware’s next game, Armored Core, is reported to have recently been confirmed by a consumer survey.

Resetera user Red licorice said on Saturday that he received a poll from Elden Ring and Dark Souls studio that appears to reveal the first details about the next undeclared mech combat game.

The unnamed installment, which will be the first full-fledged Armored Core game since 2012, is said to include “a sci-fi world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki”, “3D action-packed action” and “a high degree of customization freedom.” …

“The game is a mechanical TPS (third person shooter) action game that allows you to navigate an extremely large map that is a unique sci-fi world with dynamic action mechanisms,” says the alleged survey. “You will face powerful enemies and fierce battles both at long and close ranges using weapons and blades.”

It is reported that in the synopsis of the game, the government, corporations, cultists and unknown mercenaries are fighting over an alien substance that can “dramatically improve human society.”

According to the user, screenshots and a small amount of video footage from the game were also included in the survey, which they did not share due to the watermarks.

“I was very surprised to see footage from the upcoming From Soft game this morning, which was quite unexpected,” they wrote.
