Hey heroes!

World Eiyuden Chronicles: One Hundred Heroes filled with over a hundred characters that you can recruit for your cause. Convince the heroes you meet to join you and offer to help them on their own adventures in return. Each character has a unique story that intertwines with others and their own personalities who bring their own point of view (or drama) to the group.

You’ll meet these diverse characters when the game launches, but we thought you might want to get to know some of them today. Meet Nova, Sein, Lian, Garr and Marisa!

Male: 17 years
House: A remote village in the League of Nations
Favorite food: Any dish with meat

“Lyn always told me that my habit of sticking my nose into other people’s problems is something like an incurable disease. I’m going to help them. I’m not sure if I can, but I know I can’t just sit here and do nothing.”

As the League of Nations recruits warriors for a joint expedition with the Galdean Empire, our protagonist answers the call and leaves his remote village to test his skills. During a mission, he finds an ancient runic lens, unaware that the discovery will spark a war between the League and the Empire. After the start of the conflict, he joins the League’s border guards.

The protagonist is of the “jump before you look” type. He doesn’t always weigh the pros and cons before taking action, and while his constant need to get involved in other people’s problems sometimes causes headaches for his comrades, they love him for it and know that his heart is in right place. After all, if they were ever in trouble, he would be there first.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Seign Character Art

Male: 18 years
House: Noble house of the Galdean Empire.
Favorite food: poached egg

“Dreams and desires alone will not change the world. Reality is not like that. I give you my word; I will not hesitate to temporarily put aside my ideals if necessary to realize them.”

Second son of the House of Kesling, a powerful imperial family. His older brother died on the battlefield. Sein is exceptionally gifted; after receiving excellent grades at the military academy, he was appointed as a company commander of his peers and sent on an expedition in search of an ancient runic lens. During the mission, he meets the main character. The two treat each other warmly, overcoming adversity and learning about each other’s ambitions.

Sein’s strategic mindset allows him to analyze things from a broad perspective and make informed decisions. People often confuse his clear mind with a cold heart, but he is driven by strong ideals and a deep passion for their realization. After the death of his brother during the border rebellion, Sein began to think long and hard about what it meant to fight.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Marisa Character Art

female: 16 years
Profession: One of the Guardians guarding the forest.
Favorite food: Chicken with herbs

“You just leave the forest to me. I know where the springs hit, where the rabbit holes are and, most importantly, where your enemies will try to hide.

A young member of the Guardians, a clan that sanctifies and protects the forest. Since Marisa was very young, her family has instilled their customs and traditions in her. She has a warm, welcoming smile – except on the battlefield, where she looks like a warrior.

Although the Guardians live as one with the forest, they respect the culture and technology of the outside world and are not opposed to integrating those parts of it that make sense to them. Marisa is especially forward-thinking in this regard and loves everything new, especially cute things.

Over the generations, the Guardians have developed a unique method of wielding runic lenses. For this reason, both the Empire and the protagonist try to recruit them to their camp. Whoever the Guardians choose will mark a major turning point in history.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Lian Character Art

female: 16 years
House: Martial Arts Dojo
Favorite food: Super spicy ramen

“Uh, well, I’m not sure about the details, but basically some strange group suddenly appeared in my homeland and started walking around like this place belongs… I want to wipe those cocky smirks off their faces already!”

After the forces of the Empire invade the league’s lands, Lian becomes enraged and runs away from home without the slightest semblance of a plan. She decides to get to the biggest city she can find first, and fortunately, that’s where she meets the protagonist and his comrades.

Lian was born in the dojo and her father wasted no time in teaching her. She did roundhouse kicks even before she could walk properly.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Garr Character Art

Male: 32 years
Profession: Warrior in a mercenary clan
Favorite food: Pancakes with whipped cream

“Only an idiot would let his leader face danger first. A profit-seeking warrior would immediately laugh at the idea. But if you want to do something wrong, we will do it. Life is short enough as it is. You can’t worry every day about whether all this will pay off.

Experienced beastman warrior. He and his clan make a living as mercenaries, and their vast experience and sheer brutality make them highly sought after. War is all Garr knew, and to him, life is one battlefield after another until you die.

When conflict breaks out, each army wants as many beastmen as they can afford. Since mercenary contracts are made with individuals rather than the entire clan, it is not uncommon for Garr and his fellow beastmen to face each other as enemies on the battlefield.

Not all!

Each of these characters and legions of characters that follow are woven into a game with complex and intertwining stories and gameplay directed by Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano, legendary creators best known for their work on Suikoden games! You’ll find adventure at every turn and interact with a dizzying array of unique characters.

This is just the beginning. We will bring you regular updates to introduce more characters and more news about Eiyuden Chronicles: One Hundred Heroes all the way to launch. We are very happy to show everything we have in the store!
