Remember that mysterious spaceship that crashed in Echo generation demo? Now you and your little sister can travel with your companions to uncover this mystery and strange events in the Maple City. Explore a huge voxel world, fight your way through scary monsters and help your neighbors as you explore what happened to your missing father.
Along with tons of exploration and quests, we’ve created a turn-based combat experience inspired by the old school. Paper Mario… Collect comics to learn over 30 new attacks and different mini-games associated with each skill. Make friends with pets, each with their own unique abilities and characteristics. As you level up your team, you will face more cunning enemies and exciting boss battles. Dodge these attacks, or you might get severely beaten! Did we mention that you can play as one of nine different playable characters? Who will you choose to lead the battle for Maple City?
The game is set in 1993 and most of our inspiration for the game comes from pop culture and films from that era. We saw Goosebumps and Goosebumps. where a group of kids embark on supernatural adventures to craft our take on this classic genre.
You may see references to this in the posters in the hero’s bedroom, or think of Tremor when you encounter the rainbow worm boss. From trips to the video store, cassettes and hiding places in tree houses, we want Echo generation to reflect our own upbringing living in suburban Canada and convey the nostalgic spirit of growing up in a small town.
When you figure out the story Echo generation, make new friends and win battles against dangerous enemies, you can unlock up to 50 achievements. A good rule of thumb for achievement hunters is to read dialogues, item descriptions, and look at achievement badges for clues.
Our first voxel game Riverbond was released in 2019. Since then, we’ve worked hard to evolve the Cococucumber voxel art style, creating higher resolution models in larger, more complex environments. You will explore a series of levels such as the FST, the heart of the corporate conspiracy, and eerie graveyards with dancing skeletal cats rendered with beautiful colors and atmospheric lighting. As creators, we are touched by the fan reaction to our announcement in summer 2020 and watched many fun streams. Echo generation demo during the festival The Game Awards.
