E3 goes digital again this year thanks to COVID-19

The Entertainment Software Association has confirmed that E3 2022 will be a digital-only event. The event was canceled in 2020 and was only available online last year.

Here is the statement given by ESA Games:

Due to the ongoing health risks associated with COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of exhibitors and visitors, the E3 will not be held in person in 2022. However, we look forward to the future of E3 and look forward to announcing more details soon.
