In spite Animal Crossing: New Horizonsabsence from Nintendo E3 Direct this year, apparently there is no need to worry.
Speaking of The Virgin, Doug Bowser, president of Nintendo of America, reassured fans that the latest entry in the long-running life simulation series was still a big part of the company’s future as it progressed, and that there are plans “absolutely” to go ahead to keep players engaged:
“While we weren’t talking about it [during the E3 Nintendo Direct], we absolutely have plans to go ahead to ensure that the 33 million people who have islands outside have new and fun activities to engage in … Find more to come. “
When the game reached its first anniversary earlier this year in March, it almost felt like the biggest updates were over While the major seasonal updates are probably done, there’s still a possibility that Nintendo could working on content for sorts expansion – a bit like the Welcome amiibo updates for New leaf.
As Doug said, Nintendo wants to make sure that all gamers of the game continue to have “new and fun activities” to enjoy. If we hear anything about any news coming to Animal Crossing, we’ll be sure to let you know.
