Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 released, CD Projekt shares feedback on improvements; First DLC Coming Soon

After months of silence, Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has finally shared an update about the upcoming 1.3 patch. The game is expected to receive this major patch soon, which will bring new features and improvements to the game. Cyberpunk 2077 will also soon receive its first downloadable content (DLC), which will add more content to the game released in December 2020. Cyberpunk 2077’s launch was not successful in terms of player satisfaction as it had bugs and glitches.
After years of hype and several delays, Cyberpunk 2077 finally hit PC and consoles – both old and new – in December 2020. In the following weeks, when players were able to experience the game on their respective hardware, the reaction was largely disappointing as there were many issues with the game, especially on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Developer CD Projekt Red released several patches and fixes over the next few months. to improve the performance of the game, and it helped to some extent.
Following the previous patch 1.23 released back in June, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next patch, which is reportedly coming soon.
The latest issue of “What’s new in the city at night?” message The official site of the game tells about some of the changes that will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.3. In-game GPS navigation has been improved and players will now be able to see more maps, which should allow them to better assess the turns ahead. Players will be able to reset their perks to change their character structure, but this will cost in-game currency. These are the main changes that the developer has shared, but full patch notes will be posted shortly.
Also, the game’s official Twitter account published A short prelude video to the upcoming REDstreams Twitch live stream, which will highlight the changes Patch 1.3 will bring to Cyberpunk 2077, as well as the first DLC coming to the game. The broadcast is scheduled for August 17 at 6:00 pm CEST (9:30 pm IST) on Twitch. As a reminder, the developer shared a timeline for upcoming fixes and DLCs back in January, while free DLCs were planned much earlier this year at the time. However, in February, the company was hit by a cyberattack that compromised its internal systems and caused serious delays in meeting planned content posting deadlines. It seems that the developer is returning to square one, although he has not yet announced the exact release date for the upcoming 1.3 patch.
