Dying Light, an open world zombie parkour game, was recently introduced on the Switch and we were very impressed – after all, not all Switch ports are the same and some really don’t hold up.
But Techland is very proud of the effort they put into porting the game, and they released a behind-the-scenes video to give players a little more insight into the technological hurdles they faced and the platform-exclusive features they’ve added to the way.
“We are more than pleased with the first reception of the Dying Light Platinum Edition on Nintendo Switch and thank you all for your kind words. The feedback received clearly confirms that our combined efforts have led to the creation of one of the best ports on [the] Switch platforms for immersive and stable gameplay in both handheld and docking modes.
However, we are committed to fixing any issues (like frame rate limiting) and improving performance and quality, so stay tuned! “

The Dying Light Platinum Edition is available now, and Dying Light 2: Stay Human is coming to Switch early next year as a Cloud Edition.
