In 2019, Konami released the Castlevania Birthday Collection, collecting eight of Castlevania’s classic games and making them available as well, even on PC. It didn’t include all the fan favorites, however, such as Rondo of Blood or its Symphony of the Night sequence. Word of a new collection, not even announced by Konami, has escaped via the Australian Classification Council. On June 18, the Castlevania Advance Collection was rated M for “fantasy violence” in Australia.
The name suggests that this will be a package containing the Castlevania games released in GameBoy Advance: Circle of the Moon in 2001, Harmony of Dissonance in 2002, and Air of Sorrow in 2003. So no, Symphony of the Night seems to be left out. new. Sorry.
The classification for the Castlevania Advance Collection describes it as “Multi Platform”, so a PC release is not yet confirmed, but since the Castlevania Anniversary Collection has made it to Steam it’s a nice assumption that this will too.
Meanwhile, Netflix is working on a new Castlevania series now that the famous animated show has finished its fourth season.
