Nintendo and Illumination recently announced that Chris Pratt will take over the vocal duties of Mario in the upcoming cartoon due in theaters next year.
This is a pretty big moment for the Italian Nintendo mascot, which is still voiced by legendary voice actor Charles Martinet. While Pratt himself said that he is working on the voice, it looks like this is not the only animated character he will be playing on the big screen in the near future.
As shown Hollywood Reporter, a movie star from movies like Jurassic world and guardians of the galaxy Will also voice the lasagna-loving tabby cat Garfield in the new Sony Picture:

Shortly after Pratt was announced as the voice of Mario, he posted a video message on Instagram in which he told his story with Mario and mentioned how “dreams come true.”
