In this week’s Famitsu issue, series producer Tomoya Asano reiterated that currently nothing actively developing on the console in terms of new games. That being said, he still expects the show’s 10th anniversary to be “a little more active” than usual next year, and fans should look forward to it.

“As for the development of a new console game, [for the Bravely series]Sorry, but there is nothing yet. However, as next year turns 10, we expect things to be slightly more active than the average year. Looking forward to it.”

Back in September, Asano said that the future of the series was still in the planning stages, and admitted that another important project could take up to three or four years to develop.

“Bravely Default II has been well received by fans and as a result we hope to continue the streak as we feel we can do it again. With that said, we are still in the planning stage and I suspect it will take another 3-4 years for development, so we would appreciate it if the fans would come to terms with us. “
