Black Isle Studios is bringing Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II to Switch in 2022

Last year we heard that Black Isle Studios was interested in resurrecting Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II for modern platforms, and now it’s officially confirmed.

In a brief post on Twitter, Black Isle revealed that the second game in the action-RPG series will release “earlier than you think” sometime this year. Here’s the full teaser trailer:

A follow-up tweet confirmed that it’s coming to “PC and Consoles” – this also includes the Nintendo Switch release:

This announcement follows the original game’s bumpy launch on the Nintendo Switch last year, which stalled the game’s release on that platform.
