Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (Change)

Publisher: Ubisoft / Developer: Ubisoft

Release Date: 29 Aug 2017 (USA) / 29 Aug 2017 (United Kingdom / EU)

75% off – it was £ 29.99 / € 39.99, now £ 7.49 / € 9.99 until June 27, 2021

Mario + Rabbids Battle Battle it’s a must have for Switch-owning fans of turn-based tactical games. More importantly, such is the style and depth on offer that it’s also ideal for those who haven’t played much of the genre, for which “X-COM” sounds like a stupid acronym from a war movie. He introduces the concept in the best way possible, and then uses his ideas for what becomes a clever, surprising, and sometimes delightfully challenging experience. Although he doesn’t really like the Rabbids, this game – and its famous Mario cast and setting – is so good that Ubisoft’s mascots become cute. Well, almost.

If you have any interest in an excellent level concept, excellent storytelling, exceptional art, evocative music, great characters, fun situations and emotional twists, Horace is an intruder. He moves without being manipulative, intelligent without being playful, and nostalgic without being a lazy remnant. It’s a platform, but it’s so much no longer than what. Buy this.
