With a fun script and a wide variety of activities, it stays cool throughout and will keep you going for several hours just in Story mode; the multiplayer also offers decent playback. Golf Story is for everyone looking for something a little different; there’s a lot to love here, and if you’re a fan of RPGs or golf games, this is a must buy.

TowerFall (Change eShop)

Publisher: Matt Makes Games / Developer: Matt Makes Games
80% off – it was $ 19.99, now $ 3.99 until June 28, 2021
TowerFall sets the standard for excellence in local multiplayer, creating an endlessly fun and repeatable experience that is sure to be a hit every time you play. Although the content for a gamer is a little leaner than we’d like and the omission of the internet can be disappointing for some, let’s just say there are a few games that better exemplify the Switch’s unique multiplayer strengths. TowerFall is perfect anyone looking for a great party game for their Switch; the easy-to-understand mechanics and almost bottomless depth will ensure that this will be a favorite home for years to come.
Dimensions R-Type EX (Switch eShop)

Publisher: Tozai Games / Developer: come on
50% off – it was $ 14.99, now $ 7.49 until June 28, 2021
If you’re a fan of R-Type, you already know Type R Dimensions EX worth getting. Both games are handled brilliantly, whether you play with the old-school sprite-based art style or the improved polygon one. Interestingly, gamers who can get the most out of this are the ones who generally struggle to do well in shooting: the brilliantly Infinite mode makes a usually hardcore genre much more accessible, meaning that everyone – regardless of skill level – can enjoy the satisfaction of beating the game by submitting their score to the online leaderboards and trying to improve next time around.
West Loathing (Change eShop)

Publisher: Asymmetric / Developer: Asymmetric
37% discount – it was $ 11.00, now $ 6.93 until June 30, 2021
West of Lodi it’s not your average RPG; in fact we would go so far as to say that you have probably never played anything like it in your life. Their combat won’t shoot you up, but don’t let them make you believe that this is this game, as really everything is an adventure in exploration and interaction with a bit of fighting sprinkled in it. It can occasionally be a little difficult to decipher, but the satisfaction felt at working through a problem completes it all. The humor is wonderfully dry as the desert works and the writing is some of the best you can find on the Switch. Unless you have a humorous bone in your body, this is an RPG you can’t risk jumping from.
Mechstermination Force (eShop Switch)

Publisher: Horberg Productions / Developer: Horberg Productions
40% off – it was $ 11.99, now $ 7.19 until June 28, 2021
While certainly less of a head-turner than something like that Cuphead (which was released nearby), Force of Mechstermination it’s a more accessible approach on the head-racing platform, with less emphasis on pixel-perfect twitch-based accuracy. The game is full of ingenious design and fun writing and we really enjoyed our time with it. We recommend it as a more affordable alternative to (or aperitif for) the MDHR Studio game. If you liked it Gunman Clive, this is a big expansion on the concept and worth investigating.
The Gardens Between (Change eShop)

Publisher: Voxel agents / Developer: Voxel agents
77% off – it was $ 19.99, now $ 4.59 until July 1, 2021
Relaxing as a taxman, The Gardens Between it offers a poignant coalescence of fascinating visuals, a relaxing soundtrack and a bittersweet story. The simplicity of his control scheme hides an incredibly clever and frighteningly intricate puzzle formula that sees you rewind and play time like an omnipresent director. Its unique installation makes it one of the most unusual Nintendo Switch puzzlers.
Separate (Change eShop)

Publisher: Drinkbox Studios / Developer: Drinkbox Studios
75% off – it was $ 14.99, now $ 3.74 until June 29, 2021
A joy to see from beginning to end, Separate it’s an almost perfectly executed action-adventure game with RPG elements, real-time combat and lots of body parts fighting by various creatures. With well-designed dungeons full of rewarding puzzles and a fun fighting system, you’ll probably find that you want to play more of the game when it’s over. It’s the only real downside – you’ll probably end up with the main story after six hours and leave you wanting more – even if you want to be able to play more it’s not necessarily a complaint if you’re a time-hungry gamer with a delay. If you have the means to do this, we strongly recommend that you put that setback aside and give it a try.
Guacamelee! 2 (Change eShop)

Publisher: Drinkbox Studios / Developer: Drinkbox Studios
70% off – it was $ 19.99, now $ 5.98 until June 29, 2021
A dazzling, exciting action platformer with a powerful cocktail of combat and platform components, all set in one of the most attractive game worlds around. It’s not a massive progression from the original, and its sheer relentlessness can reveal a bit of annoyance, but Guacamelee! 2 it’s a real celebration of a sequel.
Hypnospace Outlaw (Change eShop)

Publisher: No More Robots / Developer: Project
60% off – it was $ 19.99, now $ 7.99 until July 6, 2021
Hypnospace Outlaw it’s really like nothing else out there; at the same time an excellent puzzle game, a sharp satire and a meticulously crafted slice of nostalgia of the early internet that can spend hours absolutely lost. It’s often funny things that are impeccably well written throughout the plan, managing to successfully bring out the crazy, lawless. , the first race of creativity that formed the pre-Y2K era of the internet convinces back to life. It offers a truly extraordinary recreation of the Internet GeoCities era that absolutely encapsulates its 90s aesthetic to present a living and breathable world that is a joy to spend time navigating around, absorbing the atmosphere and reliving the early anarchist days of the Internet as he slowly solved the puzzles at the heart of his narrative.
And with the growing trend of games rushing in at just cents, here’s our $ 2 pick for a super good game that’s worth the memory space it takes up on your Switch …
Urban Flow (Change eShop)

Urban FlowThe title is not a wrong name; the game is as smooth as the graphics and once the pieces are in place they should have no problem putting their head around their traffic direction game like Zen. Accessibility has been rather masterfully balanced to a relatively complex, punitive task, here. Now let’s say it might be hard to think of your own businesses in the city center in the same way ever again. After all, Urban Flow will soon make you an expert in traffic direction – even if only real people would pay attention!
